Dr. Jamie Wick began to study acupuncture out of a deep curiosity about the body’s innate ability to heal. She grew up seeing how different members of her family never seemed to truly heal from certain conditions. She saw how nature always seems to heal and was deeply curious about alternative ways to address dis-ease, in a way that causes less harm, and in a way that leads to true healing.
Michael Brown has a Master’s of Science in Acupuncture from Tri-State College of Acupuncture and Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. Michael Brown trained in Tui Na under Tom Bisio, a leader in field of Tui Na.
Dinah understands firsthand that personal growth can be quite an adventure, especially as a mom to three wonderful kids. She’ll tell you, “My trio is a constant source of inspiration and encourages me to embrace my higher self.”

Before becoming an acupuncturist Jamie lived in Mexico and worked in human rights. She loved this work, and she also realized that traditional medicine, such as Chinese medicine, could offer a great service to humanity as well. During her travels in Mexico, she was inspired by the deep connection to nature held by the people. The natural world is a part of their cosmovision, about life and about medicine. Jamie began to learn more about traditional medicine in different parts of the world and finally decided to study acupuncture.
Jamie is a board-certified acupuncturist by the NCCAOM, and a graduate of Maryland University of Integrative Health with a Doctorate in Oriental Medicine.
Jamie is a mom to two little ones who already love acupuncture.
Jamie has a special interest in working with women’s health issues, including fertility and pregnancy and has successfully treated those with pain, autoimmune conditions and other chronic conditions.

In addition, Michael Brown trained in Tui Na under Tom Bisio, a leader in field of Tui Na. Tui Na is a form of Asian bodywork that is performed with the clothes on. Tui Na treats pain, improves range of motion, and supports overall wellbeing while restoring balance and harmony to the body by unblocking meridians and promoting the circulation of qi and blood.
Michael is skilled in the use of trigger points to unblock pain and tightness in the body in order to promote healing.
Michael Brown not only enjoys treating privately, but he also enjoys providing acupuncture in a community setting. He currently provides this service in Baltimore supporting vulnerable communities during current opioid crisis.
Michael also enjoys practicing “moving medication”, also known as Tai Chi and Qi Gong. Michael teaches Tai Chi and Qi Gong throughout Maryland, DC and Baltimore. Michael believes that “the best doctor is the one inside of YOU! Acupuncture helps You heal yourself”
